Remove log in button from checkout form
Jackie
Is it possible for the log in button to be removed from the checkout page as I keep having existing students having issues with it, if they've forgotten their password they have to reset it which is a barrier to purchase. I have already had to remove the recaptcha from the page as that was causing issues. I have purchased products from other platforms as an existing student and don't have to log in to buy them. We could all be potentially losing sales because of this

Yes, it is confusing and very much a barrier to purchase

I also experienced this issue recently. Apparently my student had taken a free webinar previously and had used her Google login to create an account -- but maybe the google login option was not showing on the checkout page or she was not seeing it, but yea had to email me directly to be able to buy a course.

I am losing lots of sales due to this. Letting people buy without purchase would be great and then they can reset teir password always later.

100% agree.
It is a barrier to purchase.
And the only reason I didn't lose a $497 sale is I happened to have a software tracking that page that showed me a video of what they were doing and so I was able to see them put in their email address, but not complete.
Luckily I was able to email them and sort it out.
But I don't track every page. Just lucky that time.
And when they set up a password for the new course, couldn't that just become their new password going forward for all their courses with that email address?
And yes, also end up turning off recaptcha as it's too much friction as well.
NZ makes name not automatic, because of extra friction. Only email address.
But that password is way more friction.
