Current Stripe Integration has some restrictions so stripe option only provides card option. There is no way to add a plethora of payment methods including Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, Klarna, Afterpay, Bank account and various country level optins. Creators need ability of providing all these extra payment options and this is enabled by the new Stripe API.

Also a new european payment method Wero would be a great addition to the Stripe account as It is designed to stimulate europeans to do international payments

Klarna is a popular payment option and I know there are many NZ users waiting for the new Stripe integration that can handle Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay and other payment options as well.
So... asking on behalf of my online business friends who send me DMs wondering if I heard any news about this....
