Have the 'search content' bar that's on the course curriculum page a block you can put on the course access page

If the ability to search the course content has already been created, why can it only 'live' in a tiny discrete box on the course curriculum view page. I want it front and center on the course access page for course students to see when they log into their course.

Unfortunately it's not searching course content in the lesson, it's only searching the list of lesson titles.
