A student of mine no longer has access to her old email address, and accidentally created a new account with her new email address. (She no longer has access to her old email address).
In order to add her new email address to her old account (where all her courses and course progress was saved), I had to manually
  • delete her new account
  • update her email address on her old account
  • update her password
  • respond to her email request that it has been done
It would be nice if we were able to merge accounts like this upon client request with the click of a button (while having the ability to choose the best contact info) and it automatically notified them.
